Media planning
Duplicate a media plan
Copy a reusable plan structure, then adjust its project, budget, timing, creative, and platform-campaign choices.
Duplicate a media plan when an existing plan is a good starting point for the next period or campaign. The duplicate gives you the same structure, but you should still review the project, budget, dates, creative links, and platform campaign links before creating it.
Open the duplicate action
Navigate to the media plan you want to duplicate.

Open the actions menu in the media plan header.

Click “Duplicate.”

Update the new plan details
Rename the plan so it clearly describes the new period, campaign, or budget scope.

Update the budget for the new plan.

Choose the project where the duplicated plan should live. The original project is selected by default, so change it only when the new plan belongs somewhere else.

Select the month when the new plan should start.

Select the year when the new plan should start.

Select the month when the new plan should end.

Select the year when the new plan should end.

Decide what should carry forward
Turn on “Include Creatives” when the duplicated placements should keep the same creative records from the original plan. Leave it off when the new plan needs new creative review or different creative assignments.

Before you duplicate, choose whether linked platform campaigns should carry forward. If most links still apply, include them and remove the few you do not need after the duplicate is created. If the new plan will use different campaigns, new URLs, or a new reporting setup, leave them off and add the right campaign links later.
Turn on “Include Platform Campaigns” only when the same ad-platform campaigns will continue running in the duplicated plan.

Alert: Take a moment to review the form before you proceed. The start date, end date, creative links, and platform campaign links determine what context carries into the new plan.
Create the duplicate
Click “Duplicate Media Plan” when the settings are correct.

The duplicate media plan is created and ready for review or further editing.
